👋 Hi! I’m Amy Suto.

I started my career in Hollywood as a TV writer, but got whisked away to a life of travel and adventure when I began moonlighting as a freelance memoir ghostwriter.

Freelancing gave me so much freedom (which I wrote a whole book about!) which is why I pay it forward by also teaching others how to make writing their job, too.

while ghostwriting memoirs, running this Substack, and writing my books. We’ve been traveling full-time since 2021 and I’ve seen so many gorgeous places from Venice, Italy to Istanbul, Turkey! I keep up a travel and book review blog at AmySuto.com as well as writing new content for my Substack.

In 2025 I’ll likely pick a city and settle down — crazy! — but for now I’m writing to you from Paris, France, where I am for the month. I’m working on a new novel while eating so many croissants. 🥐
