✍️ Taylor Swift is Self-Publishing Her Book: Why Not You?
Plus: my free guide on how to self-publish your book on Amazon.
Hey writers,
It’s been a busy fall here in Paris taking obligatory photos in front of the Eiffel Tower, but I’ve been able to finally carve out some serious writing time for my new novel.
By the way, I’m headed to NYC on November 4th to meet with writers and clients of mine until November 26th, so if you’re based in the city and want to grab a coffee let me know! I’m always looking to connect with fellow writers and new friends in the book/media industry.
🫖 Sunday Tea: Taylor Swift is Self-Publishing Her Book, Why Not You?
I spent most of my weekend visiting castles in the French countryside with my partner Kyle and a friend of ours, and we had some of the best homemade crepes ever.
On the train back to Paris, I was catching up on my book news and am absolutely obsessed with the fact that Taylor Swift is self-publishing her new book. This is continuing her trend of bypassing gatekeepers, which is so refreshing.
I’ve self-published two books, and I love being able to have a final say in things like my cover design and book marketing campaign.
I believe that self-publishing is the future for writers. Want to self-publish your book on Amazon? Check out my free guide here.

📸 Photo of the Week: My Favorite Sandwich Shop in Paris
If you’re in the Montmartre neighborhood of Paris, you need to stop by Le Zingam. This grocery store sells the best sandwiches ever — they source their ingredients from nearby farms and their baguettes are great. They have a cute patio and I always see locals hanging out and drinking wine with their lunches or dinners here.
